A consistent that we can all depend on is change. Nothing stays the same forever. With the new season, I felt the need to switch it up. The name Koi out of water was so dear to me. It was my first personal brand as a dancer online. It influenced my dance styles as well as give me the philosophy to be brave. Get comfortable with being uncomfortable.
I come to realize what my brand means to me. What do people think when they hear Koi? And it’s clear that my brand is me. I am the brand. So it doesn’t matter if I show only art or only dance. I want to showcase both. Then that made me realize that quickly, I need a new domain name and I need to rebrand my website as it no longer represents me and who I am. I am someone that is more than just dance. I am someone that is more than art. I am both. So that is why my website will showcase both.
So here is to a new season, here is to a new me.

- Community work, I am going to share what I do for my community here. It’s been a lot and I have been moving in silence for the work. Time to start letting folks know all the great work I am doing to bring my community together
